Halifax new glazed unit

This sealed unit within an old timber window was a nightmare to change. Over time the beading had rotted, as the water had got behind the beading. Luckily the window frame itself was still in good condition.

We managed to remove the beading and manufacture some replacements. Once the new building had been fit (and then painted) the window was once more sealed to the weather and would last many more years. This was a time consuming and expensive process but the end result made it worth the while.
